​The paradox of feedback is that most of us say we want to receive it and yet we dread giving it and may even have the impression that others don't really want it. The responsibility for breaking this cycle lies with the manager, and while there are several tried and true frameworks for giving effective feedback, our first suggestion is that managers start by asking for feedback.
