What is CCC Rising Professionals Program?
CCC Rising Professionals Program is a six-month, blended learning development program for new and rising managers. Participants will broaden their perspective and increase their impact and commitment within their institution through developing:
CCC Rising Professionals Program structure includes:
Community Launch: Half-day session in the metro Boston area
This in person kick-off event includes program overview, introductions and expectations, exploring the history and culture of higher education and developing an individual learning plan. Schedule & location TBD based on group availability.
Community Learning & Reflection: 5 (1.5 hour) sessions
These interactive, video-conference breakout sessions provide an intimate environment for exchange of content theory, application exercises and activity review. Monthly schedule TBD based on group availability (estimated T-F 12-1:30pm on the same weekday).
Topics will include:
Session 1 -- Mission and Values
Session 2 -- Self-awareness and Communication Skills
Session 3 -- Delegation and Prioritization
Session 4 -- Conflict Management and Negotiation
Session 5 -- Managing Change
Peer Activity & Integration: 5 (1-1.5 hrs) sessions
Self-directed and interactive, these peer activity and integration sessions allow participants to build skills and reflect on program content with feedback from a community partner.
Coaching: 2 (1 hr) sessions
One-on-one coaching sessions are provided by phone by a CCC Associate.
Community Closing: 1 (2 hr) session
Our wrap-up video conference session focuses on integration of learning with developing an ongoing learning and development plan for each member of the community. Schedule TBD based on group availability.
CCC Rising Professionals Program is designed and delivered by Kande McDonald and Adam Motenko.
Program Cost: $2500 / per participant. Volume discount for multiple people from same institution. Time commitment is equivalent to a 3 day conference.
