What is CCC Rising Professionals Program?
CCC Rising Professionals Program is a seven-month, blended learning development program for new and rising managers. Participants will broaden their perspective and increase their impact and commitment within their institution through developing:
CCC Rising Professionals Program includes:
Community Launch Event: (Full day, in person)
This in person kick-off event includes program overview, introductions and expectations, exploring the history and culture of higher education, developing an individual learning plan and an introduction to peer coaching. Fall 2019 and Winder 2020 cohorts schedule & location.
Community Learning & Reflection: 6 (2 hour) sessions
Monthly interactive, video-conference learning sessions provide an intimate environment for exchange of content theory, application exercises and activity review. These sessions are led by the CCC program facilitator. Fall 2019 and Winter 2020 schedule.
Session 1 -- Mission and Values
Session 2 -- Self-awareness and Communication Skills
Session 3 -- Delegation and Prioritization
Session 4 -- Conflict Management and Negotiation
Session 5 -- Managing Change
Session 6 -- Closing - learning integration and on-going development
Homework: Approximately 1 hour per month
Readings, videos, tools and activities are assigned to deepen learning and support application of concepts and information. These assignments help participants prepare for peer coaching and future Community Learning sessions.
Peer Coaching & Integration: 6 (1.5 hrs) sessions
Participants meet monthly in self-directed peer coaching triads. These coaching sessions allow participants to build skills, reflect and integrate program content with community partners. These are scheduled by participants and take place between each of the monthly virtual community sessions.

Individual Coaching with a CCC Coach: 1 (1 hr) session
A one-on-one coaching session at the beginning of the program helps participants set their learning goals and models the coaching that participants will practice within their peer coaching triads. The coaching is provided by the CCC program facilitator and scheduled in coordination with each participant.
Optional Program Feature: Follow-on Developmental Coaching
Build on your learning experience by adding (3) one-hour coaching sessions with the CCC Coach Facilitator - $1,000
Integrating new behaviors and practices takes time, reflection and feedback. Individual coaching provides support for that process by creating a space for debriefing experiences, testing out new behaviors, receiving feedback and being challenged. Further the learning experience by engaging a CCC Coach for three additional sessions within the three month period immediately following your Rising Professionals Program.
