What is CCC Navigating Together?
Navigating Together is a consistent and timely community support gathering for academic leaders. Particularly during this unprecedented time we need to foster resiliency. CCC provides a welcoming environment to connect, learn and recharge.
Navigating Together is a weekly commitment to self-care. Leaders need to prioritize their own self-care in order to be effective with others. Each Navigating Together starts with a brief mindfulness practice and the opportunity to slow down and reflect. Navigating Together helps leaders stay abreast of best practices, experiments and successes at other institutions. The weekly exchange of ideas and experiences provides ongoing access to what's happening on campuses across the country. Navigating Together is an opportunity to ward off isolation and build new relationships. Especially during times of crisis, it's important to maintain and build a network of support. To date, participants from over a dozen institutions have attended, with some building connections beyond the weekly meetings. Navigating Together helps spawn creativity and innovation. We know that the best ideas come from a diversity of experience, knowledge and perspective. Peer consultation and sharing provides a space for problem-solving challenges collectively. Navigating Together is flexible and cost effective. Attend as many weekly sessions per month as possible for a low-cost commitment. |
I just wanted to say thank you so much for hosting the Navigating Together sessions and for your guidance over the last 6 months. I can't tell you how appreciative I am to have had this type of support and the opportunity to connect with others across a variety of institutions. It has been very helpful and I really appreciate your facilitation expertise and the support from HE colleagues during this difficult time. Thanks SO much! |
