I love this work – there is little I find more fulfilling than getting to watch those I work with become more confident and empowered. I have been a leadership and organizational development professional for more than 10 years, working across industries, including educational and research institutions, health care, trade associations, law and life sciences. I bring a passion, adaptability, and creativity to my coaching, consultation, and facilitation, which creates an engaging and courageous learning environment. My ability to quickly develop a trusting rapport with my clients allows me to effectively partner with them to ensure their unique needs and desired outcomes are clearly defined and understood. I have learned that a tailored, data-centric approach to coaching and consulting appreciates the whole context – accounting for the needs of the individual and the organization – and leads to impactful and sustainable solutions.
Most satisfying work I have had the privilege of working with a number of organizations who are mission driven and embrace a learning culture. Working with these clients is always so fulfilling because they are so eager to learn and grow, and you can see how the work we do in the room directly impacts the work they do out in the world. I also love coaching individual leaders, developing high-potential and new leaders, and working with teams to navigate conflict, instill trust, and achieve strategic alignment. Frequently used theories and tools I believe in a tailored, data-backed approach to coaching and consulting. This means taking the time to understand the whole context (i.e., needs, desires, challenges, etc.) of the individual, team, department, and/or organization I am working with. That understanding, along with data collection, analysis, and synthesis – whether from assessments like the Hogan or existing survey or performance data – ensures alignment and specificty – two elements necessary to drive impact. Additionally, using scientific models and approaches, such as the Korn Ferry Leadership Architect, add validity and reliability to the work I do. Lastly, and arguably most importantly, I believe in meeting people and organizations where they are – I collaborate with my clients in the form of throwing myself into their situation and working with them to move forward.
